In NYC and various cities, Certified Therapy Dogs work in Public Libraries (alOng with their Owners), and, have special rooms where children learn to read to a dog. The dogs even receive a W2 form. The NYPL has a wonderful program. My dog Roxy has been certified to work this job!

He can also weigh upwards of 115 pounds (or even more), and requires a 20-30 minute walk every day, always on leash due to a strong prey drive.
